Battlefield 6 - Cairo Bazaar

For Season 3 of Battlefield 6, we created a reimagination of the classic Battlefield level Grand Bazaar, this time set in Cairo.

Together with Johan Nilsson, I was responsible for building the structural backlog and asset blockouts. We finalized and polished content together with external development teams.
I also got ownership of the outer archway passageways in both building and designing the architecture, repurposing architecture I built for Siege of Cairo, as well as together with Art Direction designing the large road gates featured along the map's main boulevard which was then finalized by external artists from Sperasoft and QLOC. Aside from this, I also had ownership in designing the initial thematic and level art for the plaza in front of the burning hotel, including spline placement and terrain painting alongside Daniel Schönherr who then brought the area to final.

It's been challenging yet exciting to reimagine a true Battlefield classic like Grand Bazaar and bring it into Battlefield 6 with all that comes with it. A big thank you to everyone in the pod as well as the external teams from Sperasoft and QLOC who all came together to make this happen.
