As part of my work on Siege of Cairo I got to drive and own the map's centerpiece - the palace. This area served as the small modes area of the map and was developed in close collaboration with Level Design.
Working with all crafts across Level Design, Concept Art, Lighting, Audio, VFX and other Environment Artists was an incredible undertaking for this piece and I'm really proud of the team and where it ended up. In addition, I was also on the scan trip for the map, capturing key architectural textures and trims and created the tileables and trims required for the entire palace aside from the roof beam patterns which were created by concept art. A big thank you to Oscar Johansson who supported me on this massive undertaking with his expertise and knowledge, as well as the EA Shanghai team. The overall work and content was a massive team effort and it was a priviledge to lead/oversee and work with the team who helped bring this together.
