"In a room with paintings from artists long gone, the Curator's daughter looked out the old beaten window of her childhood room, still in the same state she left it, still the same broken window panes from when she played with hammer and nails all those years ago."
This is a project study where I wanted to create a window as realistic as possible, using ZBrush to sculpt the wood, retopologize it to add slight silhouette changes but keep it optimized, and finally texture it as detailed as possible. I only made the window, everything else is from Megascans. Paintings are from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's online collection, used under their Open Access Policy. A big thank you to all my friends who've provided feedback on this along the way!
